Heya! My friends recently introduced me to Pathfinder and I've been OBSESSED with it.
Maybe you don't know what it is-- Do you know Donjon and Dragons? It's very similar (Pathfinder comes from that licence). I like to think of it like an rpg videogame but as a baord game. You have stats, you imagine your actions relativly with whatever your character is and your DM's story (the person who creates and tell the story) and you roll dice to see i you suceed or fail miserably (I had way to much critical failures). You're more free than in a videogame and it's name to play with people, but it might be hard to find a group.
I'm not here to introduce you to Pathfinder. Tbh, I still don't understand every part of it and I'm really lame at explaining. This side is more about showing my characters and work and it's more for people already into it, but you can still apreciate my little atempts to draw fantasy characters! (Though, if you'd like to get started but don't have a group I'd recommand playing games like Baldur's Gates 3 (my fav ahhh) to get used to the universe/vibe?)(btw we play in first edition I don't know anything about the second)
First...
I unfortunately lost many of my drawing, as for the character of my first campaign... Anyway, we recently started a new campaign, it's my second campaign ever, also my first long campaign (the first was a OneShot).
I wanted to make an half-elf oracle (wanted to try magic classes). Her backstory was supposed to be like: she grew up isolated in the forest with the nature but one day, a group of people came in and threw fire at the trees. She watched her house be destryed, helpless. So what was her surprised her surprise when she was given the power of a fire oracle? I thought it'd be funny to play a fire-traumatized fighting with fire, but I'll maybe have to change that backstory cause it'll be AWFUL to have to play with a trauma maluses when it's literally the thing you fight with. We only made one session and I kinda like that character, though I'll have to learn to not be afraid to "waste spells". And I'll have to think of a better strategy, cause she was built like a distant character but almost all her spells are melee.
Anyways, at first I wanted to giver her a huge scar because of the fire but after speaking with the dm and we decided to change things. For traits, she's a half-elf from a drow, so the design completly changed. I totally redone the charadesign after seeing the equipement I'll have (wood armor and with the curse of the lame, I thought it would look cool if there was fire/lava in har leg on her charadesign (sorry I'm playing in french I'm poorly translating).
Meet Solaria!
I bought the 6th bestiary for my friend's birthday and so I started reading it a bit. I really like those fucking apocalype horses! So I challenged myself a bit and draw theme as I could imagine from the descriptions.
(The Black Horse upper left corner, The Pale Horse upper right corner, The Red Horse on the left down corner and The White Horse on the right down one)
I was bored so I wanted to design other characters. They're not supposed to be used, but it's still good for inspiration and it was fun! (of course you can use them as your campaign chracaters, tbh I'd be PROUD of them being used but if your share them online please credit me). I also enjoyed designing some armors (one inspired but Giornio hehe).
Anyway, that's all for now, hope you like it!
